If you are having trouble opening PermitMonitor, most of the time this will be due to your internet browser having pop-ups disabled. PermitMonitor opens in a new window from the beforeUdig website, so if pop-ups are disabled the program will not load.
Most browsers will give you an error notification or a status bar advising that a pop-up has been blocked. Follow the prompts to allow pop-ups for PermitMonitor, then try clicking the View Permits or Permit Monitor button again to load the application.
Otherwise, you may need to manually allow pop-ups in the browser's settings. Instructions for some popular browsers are listed below:

- Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/
- Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/

I can't see any PermitMonitor buttons - iPads and Mobiles
Customers using iPads or mobiles also won't be able to see any PermitMonitor buttons due to the default version of the website for these and the app not being configured for the buttons. Thus, PermitMonitor can only be opened via the full website.
An easy trick to get the full website on an iPad is to go through Safari browser and open the website as normal. BEFORE logging in, place and hold your finger on the refresh arrow at the top of the screen next to the URL. Holding your finger down here will bring up a popup bubble asking if you would like to view the full website. Tap your finger on this bubble and the website will automatically refresh to the full desktop website. You can now login as normal and the PermitMonitor buttons will be visible.
If you require further assistance, or if pop-ups are enabled on your browser and you still cannot launch PermitMonitor, please contact our Support Team via the green widget in the bottom right corner of this page, or using the email address below.
